Welcome

Welcome to the class wiki on language policies and laws. In this wiki, we will work together to gather important information on policies and legislation affecting culturally and linguistically diverse students. Each student will complete one policy/legislation and participate in a discussion in the D2L discussion page.

  • Draw from multiple sources of information (drawn from primary documents, articles, newspapers, etc.)

Things to consider:

  • This is an experiment in creating a democratic space to share information with each other. This is my first time using a wiki. If you have used wikis before, please feel free to share cool tricks and important information you've learned! I love to learn new tools for teaching and learning.
  • If this is your first time, feel free to use your page to get creative. The tasks above are only the minimum requirements.
  • Use the heading features to make sure that the text is accessible for all students.
  • Do not delete the work of your classmates. If you find inaccurate information, send the classmate an email to let them know and provide a link with correct information.
  • Feel free to add to other pages created by your classmates. Just make sure to sign your work on the document.
